Anatolian philosophers

There are a lot of educational debates about our tradition of philosophy.One of the most popular is we have not tradition of philosophy and science...We are usually starting the history of enlightenment in the Turkey province in 1900s but I dont agree with this argument.I think that the enlightenment started in the Anatolia 600s.A lot of historian like Bertnard Russell(history of western phlosophy) said that philosophy and science started in miletos region of İonia.Today,miletos is in the aydın province of Turkey.Therefore,the enlightenment didnt start in 1900s.On the contrary,the Turkish englihtenment started in BC 600.Of course,There are many counter arguments.Some people said that the heir of the ionia is the greece but according to Turkish intellectual historian İlber Ortaylı,the greece isnt directly associated with İoanian because Both culture and religion are not same with antik greece.Also,contrary to what is believed,Greece language is different from ionian language.Therefore,I think we are the heir of the ionian and I will tell you about our compatriot at my blog.
