ANAXİMANDER

Aneximander is the second philosopher who lived in miletos city.He was student of Thales.He was interested in philosophy of nature just like Thales and he have tried to find out arkhe.According to byzantine historian Themistus,he has remained the first written source among the philosophers called Peri Physeas.Also,he did first scientific criticism.Thales was believing that world is the form of tray.On the contrary Thales,Aneximander refuse the this theory.In this model,the earth floats very still in the centre of the infinite,not supported by anything and its curious shape is that of a cylinder.Also,Aneximander claimed the first evolutionary theory .'According to roman writer Consarinus,Aneximander said that everything was water in the world.The first animals were born trapped in spink bark but as they got older,bark would dry up and break.As early humidity evaporated dry land emerged and,in time,humankind had to adapt'(vikipedia).Except from scholar aneximander,He was politician,according to roman rhetorician Aelian,he was leader of milesian colony to apollinia on the black sea.Otherwise,he did a map and he was interested cartography.Despitee all they did,In his time,he was not popular.Many people supported the his student Aneximenes but like Herakleitos said(he was born in İzmir)everything change in life.Today,Aneximander earned the his real value.I think he was the most important philosopher in his time and this man sleep in our homeland.
