DİOGONES

Another anatolian philosopher is Diogones.Diogones was born in Sinope city of Turkey.Nothing is nearly known about life diogones except for his father was banker.With his father were exiled from sinope because of coinage offence.After then,he went to Atina and met with cynic Antisthenes, a student of Socrates.According to cynic philosophy,ethics and economy is not important for humans life.Therefore,they refuse the all of ethics rule,economy,monet and ceremony.Cynic means doggie.They denied the civizilation and they prefered to live like a animals.Diogones is most important in this philosophy because he was  different from the other cynic,founder of cynic Antisthenes and his student said as only theorical to this philosophy but diogones who believed the this philosophy lived as a miserable.He had famous history with Great Alexander.Diogones was most popular in that age.Alexander wanted to meet with diogones.According to story,Alexander asked that is there anything you want from me?Diogones replied,yes,stand out of my sungliht,after this conversation,alexander said that if  I were not alexander,then ı should wish to be Diogones.Rumour has it that,Diogones have suffered a infected dog bite and he died.
Beside the point,i am so sad about this topic,sinope has good natural landscape and area and many people traveled the city all around the world but many people dont know the Diogones even there is humans who protest to diogones statue (http://arkeofili.com/sinopta-yunanli-diye-diyojen-heykelinin-kaldirilmasi-isteniyor/).There is no only coast and hamsilos cove in sinope.I think that we must our country history.we must respect them.This geography is not very beatiful only as natural.This geography created the a lot of wise man, dont forget it.
