EPİCTETUS

He was born as as slave in Hierepolis(Today,Pamukkale,Turkey).He lived as a student in Rome,after then ,he worked as a teacher in his own school in Nicopolis at greece.He was interested in three brenches of stoic ethics,logic and physic.According to Epictetus,philosophy is not only theorical discipline,also,it is way of life.He was to encourage his student  to live the philosophic life.He think that philosophic life is happiniess or flourishing.He never married and criticied the married people.He had a philosophy school in Nicopolis.Imperial Hadriaus even visited the this school.The most famous student was Arrianus in this school.After that,this man became popular historian.Today,His rock writing is still in sutculer,Isparta where called Yazılı Kanyon.
